Archway, Relaxed varied area, not far from Highgate but a lot cheaper. Archway road which leads to the A1, gets very congested, especially during rush-hour, however there are some charming streets with large Victorian terraced houses. The area is still popular with first time buyers and there are a number of ex council properties available, and families are attracted, as there are several good schools locally. The main shopping area locally is Crouch End, with a number of cafes and restaurants on the high street. There is plenty greenery, being near Hampstead Heath and Waterlow Park.
